Using the University of Iowa 0.5-m telescope, Mark Trueblood took
this image of minor planet 2000QW7 on August 31, 2000. This small
Near Earth Object is an asteroid that came within 12 Earth-Moon
orbital radii (3 million miles) of the Earth.
