How to Contact Winer Observatory

In the movie "Contact", actress Jodi Foster played the character Dr. Ellie Arroway from Carl Sagan's book "Contact". This character is generally acknowledged to be based on the real-life searcher for life on other worlds, Dr. Jill Tarter, Director of the Center for SETI Research (SETI is the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence). Note that Dr. Tarter does not use headphones in her work -- that was a Hollywood prop for dramatic effect.
